Product managers need to be multi-lingual. If you do not speak the language of the function you are interacting with, everything becomes more difficult. Conversations take longer. Alignment becomes tedious, if it ever happens. Stakeholders come back after a feature is launched with a list of complaints.

great article aakash! It would be interesting to see a part two for this post, that explains how to level up some of these languages from good to best in class :) , as you have mentioned many a times, what makes a product thought leader unique? how do you get there, besides gaining more experience?
