Getting a PM Job

The Claude Code Job Search Operating System

I've put together the best AI product for job search (ever)

Seven days ago, Jensen Huang sat on the Lex Fridman podcast and said five words:

“I think we’ve achieved AGI.”

Whether or not you agree with his definition, something real has shifted. AI agents can now do work that creates economic value. They can research, write, build, and execute multi-step workflows autonomously.

So the question I’ve been asking myself: if AGI is here, what does that mean for job search?

I think the answer is that we can build the first product in the world that actually automates a job search end to end. Not a chatbot. Not a resume template. A system that does the work while you sleep.

I started building one. Then I saw this tweet blow up:

Claude Cowork can apply to 50 jobs in under 30 minutes. Here's how to set it up.

I had to investigate. Spent the last week running Cowork through a full job search workflow.

The tweet is technically accurate. You can point Cowork at job boards with your resume, and it fills forms and submits.

But it’s the wrong strategy, and the wrong tool.

Mass-applying with AI doesn’t work. And Claude Cowork isn’t the right harness for the job (yet).

You need a system that helps you apply to a few targeted roles. And the harness needs to be customizable.

That harness is Claude Code - with a Job Search OS.

The people getting hired in 2026 look different. They apply to fewer roles, but each one is surgically targeted. Their resumes never contain a fabricated bullet. They have referrals stacked before they submit. And they spend 20 minutes a day on their search instead of 3 hours.

I know this because I’ve coached hundreds of candidates through job searches. I run a job search cohort (Cohort 3 starts May 4, 75 seats). I’ve placed people at OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta AI, and Google in the last year.

Over two thousand people now use my PM Operating System. I spent the last 6 months encoding the same depth of knowledge into a system for the full job search funnel: from discovering roles to landing offers.

What Your Morning Looks Like

30-minute one-time setup. Then:

You open your laptop. Your daily briefing is waiting. The OS scanned your target companies for new postings in the last 24 hours. The top roles that match your profile are scored and ranked. A customized resume for each one, built from your real experience. Already reviewed and corrected. Ready to submit.

Below the roles: your outreach for the day. Draft messages personalized to each person. Follow-ups for recent connections. Referral requests for roles you applied to. Nudges for referrals that have gone quiet.

Prep for your upcoming interviews. The questions that company actually asks (from web research plus insider data from hundreds of candidate debriefs), the interviewer’s background, recent product news, and a game plan for your specific candidacy gaps. Mock interviews grade your answers and tell you which stories to swap in.

After the interview. Every question categorized. Every answer scored. The exact moments where you left value on the table, with rewrites. A personalized thank-you email referencing what you actually discussed. Each interview makes the next one sharper.

Your daily time: 20-30 minutes. The system handles the rest. The OS can apply to as many roles as match your criteria. The difference is that every single application is tailored, reviewed, and backed by a referral strategy. Volume AND precision.

If you’re full-time job searching after a layoff, this is a no-brainer. The OS does in 20 minutes what used to take 3 hours. The math on ROI is simple: the average job switch leads to a 10-15% raise. At a $200K salary, that’s $20-30K. This costs $49.

Introducing the Job Search OS

I want everyone using this to be operating at the level of the best job searchers I’ve coached. So I’ve put together a copy-paste system to go from zero to a fully automated job search.

This is more than a collection of prompts. This is months of figuring out what actually works. Hundreds of iterations. Testing, improving, learning.

It’s the actual system I use with my coaching clients and cohort members. Not theory. Not templates from the internet. Not bloat.

18 skills. That’s it. Not 200 skills with filler, not a pile of files you’ll never open. 18 skills, each one mapping to a specific step in my system for getting interviews. Every file earns its place. Nothing extra. The bare minimum you need and nothing else.

Of course, I used Claude Code to build this. The reason you can’t rebuild this is you can’t replace my hundreds of iterations testing it, plus the specific knowledge around process I’ve hard-coded in. I’ve spent hundreds of hours adding in all the little tricks that make the difference between generic AI output and output that actually gets you interviews.

What You Get

Interviews. That’s what this produces. The system has landed people at OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, Databricks, Stripe. It handles everything from finding the right roles to prepping you for the interview to writing the thank-you note after.

A resume that never lies. Paste any job description. Get a tailored resume in 60 seconds from your real experience. Not the same resume with a few words swapped. A genuinely restructured resume that matches that specific JD. Automatically reviewed before you see it. Every paid AI resume tool I’ve tested ($20-40/mo) either invents experience or produces generic output. This costs $49 once and only uses what’s true about you.

Interview prep no one else has. The OS ships with an intel database covering 250 companies: interview formats, reported questions, what they screen for, comp data. For any company on the list, your prep is pre-loaded. For others, it builds the package from web research in real time. Then mock interviews grade your answers and target your weakest areas. After 5-6 real interviews, it knows your patterns. No product on the market compounds like this.

The work product play. A 1-pager analyzing their product + a working prototype of your recommendation. 90 minutes total. I’ve seen this get interviews where cold applications failed completely.

Negotiation that pays for itself. When the offer comes, the OS researches market comp, identifies your leverage points, and drafts counter-offer language. The negotiation skill alone can recover 10-50x the cost of this OS. A well-negotiated offer can add $10-50K on top of the raise you’re already getting from switching.

A daily briefing that does 80% of the work. New roles from the last 24 hours at your target companies, scored and pre-tailored. Outreach drafted. Follow-ups ready. Weekly coaching on where your pipeline is strong and where it’s leaking. 20-30 minutes.

My complete system for getting interviews. The step-by-step process I’ve refined across hundreds of candidates. Encoded and automated.

Insider interview data for 250 companies. What companies actually ask. Which rounds are the real filters. What signals they screen for. Comp ranges by level. Updated from new cohort members and coaching clients.

All future updates. As I learn what’s working in the current market, improvements go into the OS.

Works beyond PM. The OS is optimized for product management, but the core engine (resume tailoring, networking, interview prep, negotiation) adapts to any knowledge worker role. Engineering, design, data science, marketing, customer success. The system detects your function from your career plan and adjusts output automatically.

Built for career changers. Transitioning from engineering, consulting, academia, government, or another field? The OS maps your experience to your target function automatically. It reframes your resume without fabricating, coaches you through "why the switch?" questions, and adjusts scoring benchmarks for career changers. No other tool handles this.

All of it bundled. One-time purchase.
